Nothing, was the perfect weekend getaway

The location is beautiful, and the hut itself is really lovely. We really loved the wood burner, it gave such a cosy atmosphere. I'd really recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing retreat near the lovely little town of Rye. We loved the recommendations for the plough and tibbs farm cafe, both absolutely delicious. The shower was surprisingly good, I've had far worse showers in 4* hotels.

The information left in the hut was missing a few key points in our opinion - it would have been really good to add some guidance on how to use the wood burner, and the notes about walking to the farm cafe should mention that you'll be walking down a road with no pavement for 5 or so minutes which is quite chaotic. Additionally, some information about where exactly the wood is stored would have been really helpful as we arrived in the dark and had to go looking around for it (I appreciate that you'd be able to see it easily in the daytime). On that note, it would have been good to arrive to a full basket of firewood in the hut already. We also thought there were a few small things that could be added to make everything just a little better - for example, leaving a torch in the hut for guests to use would be brilliant, and adding in some actual fire tools instead of a set of BBQ tongs would make a big difference.

Everything, place is so extrodinary, animals around you in the fields, inside of the hut kids loved it, honestly i would recommed this place to unwind and recharge. We will probably go again .

The views were amazing and the hut was very cute and had everything we needed. A great location with lovely walks nearby.

Insufficient power to charge our phones although made us have a tech detox!

Perfect Peaceful location, great dog walks & close to Rye and Camber sands for a doggie beach run. Plough Inn nearby which was exceptional for service. Great dog walk which was well sign posted to the farm shop cafe. A little gem of a hut. We will return
