Penzion Na Hribu

The room is compact but well equipped with air con, powerful shower and TV with movie channels which was a blessing whilst I was unwell. The location is stunning on a vineyard and the host is very friendly and helpful.

There are no mugs, cups, kettle, teaspoons etc in the room, so you cant make yourself a cuppa. Checkin is from 5pm and checkout 10am. I felt the charge not fair and a late checkin inconvenient, when I had arrived at lunchtime

Right in the vineyards and close to interesting places Na Hribu is the ideal location to explore the Vipava valley. On arrival we were greeted with juice, homemade wine and olives. Na Hribu has lots of parking space and provides breakfast and self cooked dinner. The room was clean with an AC and the bathroom big enough. You need to get used to the low ceiling in the room, but as we are not so tall it worked out.

We booked the apartment, but this seemed to be occupied already. Petra offered us two rooms instead for the same price. As we opted for only one room she gave us the price difference back and even offered us a dinner for free. This was very fair!

Nature, peace and quiet surroundings, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast and great hostess Too bad we were just passing through, this place deserves more days and longer visits.

Petra was a really nice host, she worried to take very well care of us. Facility was orderly. Breakfast was delicious! Big parking in front of the house is a plus as well

Although it was really clean, there was some dust / dirt in the room.

It was a great and easy 2-day-stay. The main host is Petra and you can order breakfast and also dinner, while staying there. The breakfast was a good meal for the whole day,with the selection of local salamis, prosciutto, cheese, eggs on demand, juices,local jams, freshly baked biscuits, yogurt, tea, coffee. Perfect. The dinner was also not on demand, but whatever she planned to cook that day. For easy and all-eaters. And enough in quantity for even the most hungry ones.

The rooms are in the first floor with immediate roof above, so therefore the room height is not for 1.9m tall people, but for less than that is manageable.

We had a really enjoyable stay! The property is situated amidst vineyards (strongly recommend doing a visit to one of those), quiet (which is what we like), and is a good base to explore the region. Breakfast was homely and satisfying. Above all, the staff were all very warm, hospitable and welcoming.

Pretty location amongst the vines. Petra was a terrific host and spent time with us to explain things and give advice. Excellent home cooked food and wine from the property. Short walk to an excellent 1.5 hour wine tasting at Petric. Good parking areas.

Petra and her family were charming snd attentive hosts. Her home cooked dinner we bespoke was marvelous!!!! Breakfast was also ample and delicious. Location is also great. We can warmly recommend Penzion Na Hribu
