Grand Canyon Western Ranch

The Ranche is prachtig gelegen en dichtbij de westelijke kant van de Gran Canyon. De lodges zijn sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is veel entertainment en activiteiten. Wij hebben paardgereden, helicopter gevlogen en je kan er ook schieten. Een totale cowboyervaring dichtbij de Gran Canyon. Je bent in 25 min. Bij de Skywalk en je kunt er zelfs met een zipline met prachtig uitzicht op de Canyon. Het restaurant van de Ranche is zeer sfeervol met gratis koffie en thee. Maar t personeel spant de kroon. Super lief, gezellig, geïnteresseerd en mega servicegericht. Voortreffelijk ontbijt en diner, chapeau voor de chef. Gezellige entertainment van Casey, die wij in ons hart hebben gesloten, maar ook cowboy Dave. Genoten van hun zang, grappen en gesprekken. Het kampvuur en de marshmallows. En dank je Taylor en de dame van de receptie en bediening (sorry ben even je naam kwijt…)met haar prachtige dochter. Wat een warme familiaire ervaring. Nogmaals dank dat jullie ons verblijf zo aangenaam hebben gemaakt. Het was de tweede keer dat we hier waren in 8 jaar. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug als t ons gegeven is. Location - No words to describe, felt like very close to nature, bonus no network, something which I wasn't looking for but had a feeling that break was and is needed for everyone. Breakfast/Dinner - Being a vegetarian family, had couple of options on the menu but staff did help with customizing.

Everything. The view was amazing, the entire staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family. Our cabin was cozy and comfy. The food was good and the singalongs around the campfire was great fun. It’s a unique experience and we met a lot of other guests and got to know some of the staff. The kitchen staff were absolutely amazing, both in their cooking and personality. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back.

Not a thing.

I got to the Ranch really late, around 9PM, so did not realize until sunrise how beautiful the location truly was. I highly recommend this location, a must stay. Only wish we would have stayed longer, maybe next time.

Not a big thing, bathroom only had a tub, did have a handheld showerhead, but no shower curtain, maybe that is the feel of the place, rustic. We worried some about wetting the floor with the showerhead, we are not "cabin/hotel tub using" kinda people.

On arrival was greeted by a member of staff who was really pleasant and very helpful. From start to finish was just magical . The accommodation was stunning had little touches for example the metal work had guns, cowboys on horseback. Beds very comfortable and clean . The restaurant food was tasty and the cowboys playing the guitar was an extra bonus felt really personal. Then after dinner around a campfire there was a singalong . Then the next morning we went horse riding at first I was a bit apprehensive but then once settled it was the highlight of my trip .
