Agropensiunea Beluga's warm and welcoming hosts, along with truly gourmet locally-sourced meals and every effort to make our visit special, resulted in an unforgettable experience. For a few short days, we felt like members of the Delta community in this unique and important natural treasure.

Die Pension wurde von einem rumänischen Architekten, der in Berlin arbeitet, im traditionellen Baustil des Donaudeltas errichtet. Sie ist komfortabel ausgestattet, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Die Besitzer kümmern sich zusammen mit einem freundlichen Team von Mitarbeiterinnen herzlich um die Gäste und verwöhnen sie mit köstlichen traditionellen rumänischen Gerichten. Auch meine Tochter, die Vegetarierin ist, war begeistert von den extra für sie zubereiteten Speisen.

Im Dorf gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles Notwendige – außer Lebensmitteln – muss mitgebracht werden.

The guesthouse is clean, cozy and tastefully decorated, the hosts are wonderful and the traditional fish dishes were delicious. Our host also recommended someone who organizes boat trips in the delta.

This property is undoubtedly the most stunning in the region, showcasing an incredible blend of local architecture and modern design elements. The photos don’t do it justice—this is one of those rare places that looks even more impressive in person. The host was exceptional, and the food was outstanding, surpassing Michelin-star quality. The price offers incredible value for money.

I like everything, I can’t recommend it enough, and I will be going there again.

Very well taken care and maintained by wonderful people. It combines tradition with modern. Food is great. We felt like visiting close relatives.

Exceptional vacation. We felt more like visiting some distant aunt than booking an accommodation. The hosts were very warm and helpful. The food was delicious and plenty, beside breakfast and dinner we also got several snacks, lunch, drinks from the house - which were homemade. The only thing we paid extra was some craft beer - which was a very nice surprise to find one of my favorite craft beers in such a remote location. They helped us book some boat trip to visit the Delta and see some birds and water lilies, which was a great experience itself, and also to rent a kayak in another day, which I definitely recommend. Overall, very flexible and friendly hosts and a relaxing and invigorating stay. Would definitely like to come back.
