"You are in rural Portugal in Beira. You will love it."

I wanted to stay in a more rural part of Portugal, and the Tapada de Beira was just what I was looking for. Beira is a very small town, basically two streets. Within a radius of 10K there are two castles and many hiking trails. The selection of restaurants is good, and a number of excellent ones 7K away in Castelo de Vide. The guest house was very nice with a large room and very nice bathroom. Private parking right beside the guest house. The farm animals added to the atmosphere. A grocery store was 5K away. I highly recommend this place.

I wish I had booked it for at least one more night.

Beautiful property with exceptional hosts. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and very cool even in the extreme heat. The pool is absolutely amazing. The hospitality and friendliness of the hosts really made our stay special.

"Excellent accommodation near Marvao"

The hosts are wonderful! Warm, friendly and very helpful. Keen to engage in meaningful conversation. The room was pleasantly decorated and spacious. Off-street parking provided. Wonderful view of the Marvao Castle lit-up at night from just outside the the property.

Nothing was negative.
