The Garlic Farm

A beautiful barn-conversion style cottage. Three bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a laundry/shower room.

Nous revenons enchantés de notre séjour. Un lieu privilégié, au calme, très fleuri, en respect total de l'environnement. Les cottages sont très confortables, très bien équipés. Excellente communication avec les équipes sur place qui répondent instantanément aux mails et veillent à satisfaire au mieux les demandes de leurs clients. Un grand merci à eux tous. Nous sommes très reconnaissants de l'aide qu'ils nous ont apportée.

Le seul regret que nous pouvons exprimer est de ne pas avoir eu la possibilité de dîner au restaurant le soir. Quel dommage quand tant d'attention est portée à la qualité de la nourriture servie! Heure du petit-déjeuner un peu trop tardive pour démarrer ensuite les visites prévues. Heureusement nous avons pu en profiter le jour du départ et constater que tout était parfait : la salle de restaurant en elle-même et bien sûr la nourriture. Un régal!

Great spot, pleasant accommodation, great restaurant on site. Hugo and Mel were fine hosts and jumped on one small problem with a total fix almost immediately. I strongly recommend letting Mel deal with Wightlink for you if crossing by ferry. She gets great prices and dealt smoothly with a couple of changes for us.

Understandably, and not a big issue, you have to log in to the free WiFi daily on all devices.

Great location and cottage

The food was far too Garlicky

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff efficient and friendly The layout and facilities exceeded our expectations The location made if easy to explore central and east wight during our few days on the island

Nothing of note

We loved the milking parlour cottage. Beds were comfy, plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. The play park area for the children was great and we also had the pleasure of spotting 4 red squirrels around the farm during our 2 night stay.

We did both of the garlic farm walks during our stay. The walk that crosses the road and rises up the steep hill was overgrown with stinging nettles and did not seem well maintained
