Mennuli&Alivi - Organic Farm

We loved our stay at Mennuli&Alivi, it exceeded our expectations. The hosts Marco and Michele are the nicest people, and the food was wonderful. It's a very small and intimate space, with only a small number of small apartments on the property so at most you will only be there with maybe 6 other people, max (when we arrived, we had the place to ourselves for the first day). The rooms are really small standalone cabins or studio apartments, so you have a lot of space and you're not right next to other guests. You're in the middle of the countryside with nobody else around really except for other farms and farmers, so it's very quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is a nice addition. Breakfasts are very generous with high quality fresh fruit and pastries, and if you choose to stay for dinner, it's much more of an authentic home cooked meal type of scenario than just going to a restaurant, if you are visiting Sicily it's the next best thing to being invited to someone's house for dinner, with groceries bought just for you in the morning to prepare for your dinner that night, fresh and high quality local ingredients and pride and love in the cooking. After the first night we decided we'd have all our dinners there. Be prepared for a lot of food though, don't ruin your dinner by having a large or late lunch! We would definitely go back, it was the highlight of our vacation to stay here and meet the people running the farm.

Nothing to dislike about the hosts or the property. Really hard to think of anything negative to say about this place.

Mennuli&Alivi is a gem. A magical place where to find a true tucked away experience, delicious and earthy food and warm hospitality. Michele, our host has been very attentive and helpful with any of our need as small family. We will definitely come back.

Very charming place in nature, beautiful pool, very clean, delicious dinner, nice host...

The host, Michele, was very welcoming and attended to our requests. He is also friendly with kids. We dined every evening at the establishment and the food (typical Sicilian) was genuine and home made including their own produce. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend some quiet time in nature!

Beautiful location in the heart of nature

A perfect combination between a 'farm-stay' and modern sleeping facilities (and let's not forget the presence of a real pool). The three cabins on the property are brand-new, big, very quiet and nicely modern finished. Michele took very good care of us and made great meals (the granita almond taste was fantastic as also the fresh ricotta!). I was not feeling well the days I was staying here and Michele did everything to prepare meals for me that my stomach could handle. We could give our preferences for breakfast and dinner and he would arrange it for us. Very sweet! In case you need it: wifi works perfectly, also in the rooms.

The pool was not very clean, but we also were here at the end of the regular season and the weather was not great, so I could imagine it was not Michele's priority. It's anyway something I am pretty keen on, my wife said she was completely not bothered by it, so... Also if you want to eat 'out', you need a car. There is nothing really nearby. Take into account that the city Noto is about 25 minutes by car.
