The house and the pool are great.

The access to the property is a 2km road that, due to its conditions, it takes you 15 minutes to drive by. It's full of holes and it damaged my car. Definitely would have picked another place, if I knew the road was going to be that way.

The location is superb. Peaceful and beautiful landscape than you can see from the living room and the great porch. The house is very comfortable and the environment was the perfect one for relaxing and spending quality time with family.

The access dirt road is very bumpy. Likely because of the rain in the days before but it's the only thing I saw that could be improved :)

The location is very quiet, with spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. The Casa do Melro, where we stayed, is very comfortable and has all the necessary features for a cosy stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I liked every thing.

The communications with the property before and during the stay was excellent. The room was clean, and everything needed was provided. Loved the quiet, peacefulness and the pool on the premisies.

There really wasn't anything that could have been better.

The unit was a good size, functional kitchen, dining table, lounge and bathroom with good hot water. The bonus was the fire to enjoy with a wine in the evenings. The location is amazing, it is remote on the outskirts of Crato (down a 3.5 k/m dirt/farm road, so care is required with low vehicles) and that adds to how special this place is. A great base to explore the Alto Alentejo. You are staying within an operating vineyard around you. There are several units in the same building of the place we stayed in and only one other one was occupied when we were there.

The couch was uncomfortable, however the two separate lounge chairs were perfect.
