Mooi Bly

The Merlot cottage was such an idyllic cottage situated between the lemon trees, looking out over a little pond and two lovely horses. The cottage has everything you need and the host Liesbeth greeted us with a warm welcome, lots of information, and was just a WhatsApp away. Overall, a super nice getaway.

Liesbeth was fantastic Touched base with us before we came in, great instructions and nothing was too much of an effort . Every need was met Loved all the animals on the property

A wonderful, tranquil place and Liesbeth is a very outgoing and supportive host. We really liked it there. The kitchen is fully equipped, the location just beautiful (you can actually see the stars at night!), not far from the highway (N1), which means Cape Town is just an hour away. There are lots of animals around. Staff is very friendly. The mall (for groceries) is about 10 minutes away, and there area is home to a few wine farms, as well the distillery that makes SA's only (and excellent) Whisky.

Mooi Bly is a beautiful little paradise, with romantic pathways full of wild flowers in between the cottages. Liesbeth is a very cheerful and chatty owner, making all her guests feel personally welcome. We would have loved staying longer if it had been available - that says it all!

There is a wasps nest in the hedge below the bedroom window that needs to be removed. My grandson was tung three times.
