Beverley Country Cottages

The setting is beautiful. House is very comfortable. Kids adored the goats, cows, dogs and kids from other units. Fire kept us lovely and warm, even in the bathroom.

I would have loved a coffee plunger and a few other kitchen tools (e.g. peeler), and a hairdryer (supplied when asked). More information on arrival about the house, facilities and things to do in the area would have been great.

Spacious comfortable rooms. Big fireplace. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

I felt it could have more cutlery and crockery. As there was just sufficient for one meal. Maybe another dishcloth for drying when we did have to wash up for the next meal The electric blanket on the queen bed did not work. It was disappointing.

Fabulous location, owners, dogs and staff. Great attention to detail and so peaceful all you could hear in the sound of Jackals at night

Shop could be a little better stocked.

This isn't your standard self-catering holiday destination, the house amazed us with personal and thoughtful touches. Each bedroom had their own en-suite (what a pleasure!!), including bathroom heaters in each one for those chilly nights. The beds were very comfortable! The fireplace in the middle of the living area is perfectly placed AND is cleaned and reset every morning. Our kids had such an amazing time, we could left them roam free like real farm kids! The little dam is choc a block with bass, each kid (and the big dad kid) caught at least one bass (catch and release).

It is far from the shops, stock up on your way.

Peaceful, fresh air lovely gardens, fresh milk. Lovely views, double shower in our cottage Friendly dogs. Absolute pleasure to be there.
