Agriturismo Baglio Pollicarini

Stunning rural setting with wide ranging views including Mt Etna. So peaceful and the rooms are great. We had the suite which was outstanding in its size, views and decor. Walking around the grounds /olive trees is nice, and the pool is open from June. Good Sicilian food is available in the evening by appointment. Breakfast was simple and great - a straightforward selection of quality products eg cheese, salami, fruits, eggs with good coffee to order, as well as yogurts, pastries etc. We received a friendly welcome from Giuseppe, and Massimo was a great help - thanks for the introduction to Nespola! Well positioned for Caltanisetta, Pergusa and Enna.

Nothing to dislike - we received everything we expected. There happened to be a private party in the function room (we were warned in advance) which created some music noise, but wasn’t a problem to an adult couple

We love to say in quiet agriturismo places, and this is a fine example. The buildings were beautiful and our room was very comfortable. We were unfortunately there during a period of dense fog, so we didn't get any views of Mt Etna. However, walking among the olive groves in the fog was also a fine experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. I have to be gluten free, and was happy with my options here. The onsite restaurant was closed (it was out of season, but we were directed into nearby Pergusa where we had an excellent dinner. I was sorry that we couldn't stay longer.
