Masnec Tourist Farm

It is in a beautiful, stunning place in the mountains. It's really quiet. The bed was comfortable, the meals were delicious, we loved it. The hosts were kind too. The view was amazing from our window. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was poorly equipped. We couldn't keep our food cold for 3 days, because there was not even a mini fridge in the room. The wifi in our room was technically useless, because the signal could not reach the top floor where our room was.

We loved the peacefulness of the farm & the enitre area. Breakfast was very average but the dinner was super! We had no means of communicating with the parents who run the guesthouse, but they were extremely friendly & tried to help where possible. Barbara works during the day & then assisted after hours with anything needed.

Everything (meals etc.) wasn't as advertised, but we assume it is because we arrived early September and their "busy season" closes at end of August. Nevertheless, we loved our stay!

It was in the location where I needed a place to stay.

Payment policy is not clearly stipulated on the information/policy page for the listing, nor was it stated when I checked in. I placed a card on file when booking the room - the card I intended to pay with. Hours after leaving the property, I was contacted and told I needed to return to pay for my stay with cash. The excellent reviews for this property were the reason I picked it, and I was sorely disappointed. It was not a hospitable environment. The wifi was awful - didn’t have service at all in my room on the 3rd floor. In the morning I went for a walk and was followed by the dogs living outside of the property, not secured in a pen or behind a fence. Returning from my walk I was accosted by the dog owner as if I was stealing them. I’m not sure how to tell a dog I don’t know to sit and stay as I walk down the road. Perhaps the dogs should be kept inside like all the other animals in the neighborhood.
