Karetu Downs Farm Stay

The breakfast tray full of provisions was amazing. The farm and gardens were lovely. The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable, overall an excellent stay.

The owners Bruce and Karen were extremely accommodating and gave us an exceptional experience when staying at the cottage. The home was beautiful and had a brilliant blend of old and new, it captured our weekend perfect as we used this location to stay before a wedding and took photos in the beautiful garden. Thankyou Bruce and Karen for a brilliant experience. We will be back!

Karetu Downs is a wonderful place to stay, Karen and Bruce are so welcoming to everyone. A place to relax and rejuvenate away from the humdrum of townships. A beautiful garden and farm to wander through.

Host was very hospitable and the farm was a fun and enriching experience. Very clean one as well. We had a wonderful time interacting with the animals. Karen made great breakfast as well.

We have really enjoyed sitting by the open fire, while the weather outside was getting a bit nasty. Also we have really appreciated the atmosphere of the farm stay, knowing it’s for real with its family history.
