La Gelsomina - Etna

We rented the apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 3 nights in early April. Breakfast was excellent with many delicious choices. All the staff were very warm, welcoming, helpful and responsive. The property is beautiful and the wines are really delicious. Melania was our main contact and wine tasting host. She was very professional, knowledgeable about the wines and the area restaurants. When we had a problem with the heat, she responded right away and continued until the problem was solved. She also arranged for us to have a great tour of Mt Etna on short notice and for a good price. The washing machine worked well. Beds were comfortable.

The property is somewhat remote and the drive was a bit difficult with narrow winding roads with many hairpin turns. But it was worth the effort to find! The living room in the apartment would be cozier if it had more furniture. It had only a sofa and a TV. The kitchen was well-equipped.

A beautiful quiet place to enjoy tranquility and staff really amazing. A must to take the wine experience and try their wines. Amazing accommodation and helpful hosts.

A quiet and interesting place. The access routes are a bit challenging. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The hotel staff is very kind. And most importantly, the view is stunning.

Simply magical. The most beautiful vineyards we saw during all of our travels around Sicily. Seemingly endless tiered rows of grapes and olive trees, all overlooking the majestic valley surrounding Mt. Etna, and the sea beyond. Our room was massive, with a lofted bed that was incredibly comfortable and warm, even as winter approached during our stay. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine and gave great local dining recommendations. Truly a unique and well thought-out property; so much love has been put into this place! Not to be missed.
