La Gelsomina - Etna

Loved everything. Not a bad thing to say. Staff very helpful. Wine is fantastic. The view from the terrace of the room is spectacular.

There are no words to describe this hideaway winery in the outskirts of Mount Etna. From the moment we arrived, Jessica was very helpful with instructions on how to drive to the property and how to enter with ease. The room was stunning, a loft style with 2 bathrooms. The view of the vineyards and the water the far distance was picturesque! We had an Etna tour and the winery staff stayed late for us to be able to do our tasting of the wines when we returned. Breakfast burritos was a perfect spread in the morning. Would highly recommend booking here for a little oasis!

El lugar es hermoso, el jardín, los viñedos, todo! Muy cómodo y amplios ambientes. Baños impecables, lavarropas y más. Todo impecable y disponible en todo momento. El desayuno bufet es espectacular, jugos naturales, yogures, ensaladas de fruta natural, huevo y hasta salmón. Todo muy bien servido, en abundancia y disponible sin límite. El personal es gentil y nos recibieron para que degustemos unos vinos riquísimos. La calle de acceso es algo estrecha, pero podes acceder bien con el coche y las vistas del entorno son hermosas. Dejas el auto estacionado adentro de la finca. Realmente en nuestra recorrida por Sicilia fue lo mejor que tuvimos y a su vez es excelente la relación precio-calidad.

Si no contratas la comida o la compras afuera, se complica ya que no hay nada para cenar cerca y el acceso no es bueno sobre todo de noche y ni hablar si tomaste un vinito.

De foto's doen te weinig recht aan wat we kregen. Wij hadden 2 comfort kamers, maar die vormden dus samen een appartement. Compleet met keuken, 2 badkamers, woonkamer en terras. Helemaal vrijstaand. Was prima in orde, schoon en makkelijk contact via Whatsapp. Ligt erg mooi, maar wel afgelegen. Dus goed de instructies volgen. Prijs/kwaliteit is meer dan prima.

Ligging is mooi, maar wel erg afgelegen. Er waren blijkbaar meer mensen op het landgoed maar die hebben wij helemaal niet gezien, dan zit je wel heel erg eenzaam in een afgesloten wijngaard.
