It was a perfect location right next to the Cathedral. Lots of old world charm. The host and staff were very kind and sweet. The breakfast was light but perfect for us. The place is curated with antique, period-appropriate furniture. The bathroom was modern, though. Parking was easy.

It was a bit confusing where the reception area was. Better signage would be helpful. There are some steep stairs up to the entry, so if you have large bags or mobility issues it might be a problem. We were fine with our smaller bags.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch die liebenswürdige Gastgeberin. Sie spricht nur portugiesisch, aber irgendwie versteht man sich trorzdem. Die Unterkunft ist ein altes Herrenhaus. Entsprechend möbiliert, man fühlt sich in der Geschichte zurückversetzt. Ein gepflegtet Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Bett war bequem und das Badezimmer top modern. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Gratisparkplatz im Innenhof. Top Lage, gleich neben der Kathedrale.
