Windfall Wine Farm

The farm is beautiful , we could walk for kilometres every day and just enjoy the scenery and breathe the fresh air. Very quiet, no other people around. Loved the braai and lovely garden. Stunning views over the dams if you walk up the hill. They even have braai facilities on top of the hill. Accommodation is comfortable farm cottage, not luxurious but everything you need.

Husband could not watch the rugby as they have limited Dstv package.

We had a wonderful stay at Windfall Wine Farm Cottages over the Easter weekend. Coming from Cape Town the drive was easy and scenic, with breath taking mountain views all around. The Cottage itself was clean, cozy and just what we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The first two days were sunny and the kids loved spending time at the swimming pool.

The minor issue we had was with the wifi at our cottage but, the host was very attentive and tried their best to assist. Despite that, our stay was peaceful and enjoyable and, we highly recommend Windfall Wine Farm Cottages to anyone looking for a quiet, rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Cottage, Chenin Blanc was very clean, very well equipped and with the Satellite TV was a pleasure when the weather changed. The swimming pool and area was fine, although some floor board's were missing, this needs attention urgently. The lawns and garden's are beautiful and views are amazing.

Although being made aware that it's a self check in, it would still be nice if a responsible person came across to check on the guests just once. Surely that is not too much to ask!?

It's a peaceful farm

The sheets were stained and dirty, and although we were assured they would be changed the next morning, this never took place. We were also assigned a cottage located approximately 3km from the advertised cottages, which was not what we had originally booked. Lastly, the coffee, milk, and tea sachets provided had expired in 2022, posing a potential health risk.

That it’s quite and comfortable

I don’t know what it is but There is always something about the yellow cottage whe always try to book early for the yellow cottage cause we have children and it’s near to swimming pool for them but where never manage to get that cottage even when we book early or even when we’re request it than the lady alway told us it’s been booked or there is people coming for that cottage and most of the time we’re there it’s stands empty so we just want to know if it’s only for certain people or is there a code that we must put in we’re coming the since last year September 2024 and most of the time the place is empty so we thinking we’re raqulars now cause we supporting the place and it’s nice there but can’t helping of thinking the yellow cottage are only for certain people cause I was more than 1 time booking more more than one or 2 cottages but they were always skipping the yellow cottage so I just wanna know cause last time I saw cockroaches in cubord of red cottage barell 41

Beautiful open green place. Advertisement on booking.com is deceiving regarding a play park! We as family specifically choose places like these to keep the kids busy and guess what, no park! This was our second time visiting your facility. The 1st time we understood because you were busy with maintenance, but this time... Please update your pictures and description of your facility!

Just the peace on the farm without any cars and music, it was just a peace of heavan away from home
