Quinta de São Caetano - São Miguel Açores

It was private, gated and surrounded by lush plants and trees. It was so quiet even though we were 5 minutes from the beach and on a busy highway. The owners were kind, and helpful and so welcoming. We could not have asked for a better stay , as we were only 6 km from downtown Ponta Delgada , and mere minutes from all the beautiful roads on the island.

De locatie is prachtig, mooie uitvalbasis om het eiland te verkennen en dicht bij het fantastische strand! Hele gastvrije mensen die ons soms fruit, flensje of iets lekkers kwamen brengen, heel lief!

Let op!! Alle faciliteiten zoals benoemd was voor iedereen samen!! Dus GEEN EIGEN terras, uitzicht, wasrek, koelkast, keuken, zithoek. We hadden een kamer met 2 bedden, kast, eigen douche en wastafel. Een tafeltje waarop 2 bordjes, 2 mokken, 2 glazen en wat bestek lag en een waterkoker met zakjes voor koffie en thee. Geen koffiezetapparaat! Voor de prijs te duur voor wat je krijgt.

This was the perfect place to stay as a family with two children (4 and 7 years). There is a beautiful garden for the kids to explore and for the parents to relax. The house is nice as well, it had everything we needed. The beach is just a short walking distance away. All in all we loved our stay here!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. It was clean, cozy, and there was access to the garden from the room.

Nice stay in private area owned by Azorean couple. Oasis of calm where you can take rest for the next day hike. Eventhough breakfasts were not included, I often found some sweet cakes in my room after my returns in the evenings. Dog and cats make good companions around. Parking is provided inside the area after entering the code into electrically driven gates.

Nothing to mention, that's why I give 10 out of 10.

The owners are gracious people. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a good time. Recommended places to eat and things to see. Left us cookies and cake every day.

We had a little difficulty with the Wi-Fi. Other than that, the stay was great.

The property was gorgeous and in a great location for adventuring around the island. The owners of the property were very kind and helpful when giving tips about where to go on the island and when to go.

There was no AC, and it was quite hot when we were there. So It may not affect you if it's cooler when you travel.
