"What a great experience."

Great place for a restful day. Felt like I was coming for networking, the pop-up social drinks made my day. The host was amiable and did the extra to make pumper us... Did not disappoint, it was a great place for a couple of days. The breakfast was enough and everything to please you,q quiet room and plenty of space. If you love wine, ask for the local brew, was amazing in my experience. If I can I will defo come back for a longer stay.

We had a very big room. Very quit environment (so perfect for a good night’s sleep. Paulo is very kind and helpful. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

A bit further away from some Douro hotspots like Pinhao and Peso da Régua

The room was big , clean and comfortable. A nice bathroom, with hot water, good stream, we like it. The manger , Paulo, is wonderful with huge heart, who always want to help, to make you feel happy. He make us feel like home . He gave us a lot of information on the area and Portugal. He like to talk and we learn a lot of things from him

"One of our best experience during our family trip"

It was one of our best experience during our family trip. Paulo and Carla are very generously and wholeheartedly hosts. This is a small and high quality family hotel, very clean, well maintained and pleasant. It provide homely family feeling. We arrived at early evening and Paulo immediately suggested dinner and prepared an excellent meal with wine from his winery, fresh bread, fish and side dishes and finally dessert. The next day they equipped us with all the best for our way to the next destination. We were given recommendations for places to explore in the area. It's hard to describe the good feeling this place gives. We highly recommend and hope to come back again.

- Absolutely friendly, funny and very caring hosts - Delicious dinner and breakfast

- Too small bed for us - Hairdryer in the room would be nice :-)

Everything! Carla and Paulo were over the top hospitable. The facility is lovely. They couldn't have done anything more to make out stay better. A truly wonderful experience -- wonderful place and wonderful people!!!
