The location is good with amazing views. We had dinner two times and the antipasto was very well prepared.The rooms were clean.

No croissants for breakfast! In Sicily all the agriturismo accommodation prepare freshly baked croissants in the morning 😒

My choice of this object was random. But I am grateful to God that I was lucky enough to see Nicosia! This is a uniquely beautiful place on the planet! We really liked the guest house and farm. It's nice to see a hardworking, thriving family.

La Stragola is a very beautiful agriturismo, situated in the countryside of Nicosia, surrounded by mountains and valleys, with a view of majestic Etna, which was spectacular at dawn. It is an authentic agriturismo, with an animal farming/machinery section having its own entrance, secluded from the neat agriturismo section. The architecture of the rooms is particularly attractive. Our room was very spacious, with its own entrance and had lots of windows all around. The breakfast was abundant, both salty and sweet and the dinner offered to us by Cristina was great and reasonably priced. Apart from the fabulous antipasto; finally we were presented with big, tasty meat portions, which seem to have disappeared from everywhwere since Covid! Cristine was helpful and kind, as were also the people living in the area, who stopped to help us and to give us lifts when they saw us in distress due to heavy rains during our walks!

I really did not like to leave this place after just one night!

Whilst the location was fine overall,the breakfast was mainly poor. Mainly sweets and not even homemade. Never felt the smell of freshly baked goods out of the kitchen. When we aksed the host if we could use the kitchen to cook we we re told no. Regarding the barbeque, we were told that we may bother the otjer guests if we use it. When kindly asked if she could cook something for us with our own ingredients(as she stated that the kitchen and the dinning are registered as a restaurant) we were told no,once again. The only thing we could eat there woould be a plate of cold cuts and a portions of pasta for ,,only 25€ per person". For such a beautiful location,in a nice village we expected more fresh goods,local products(not store bought food) and better breakfast. Never seen an egg. Not even raw,let alone cooked😅. Perhaps there has been a misunderstanding from both sides. Think twice before booking your stay there. If you are there just to relax,than go ahead. Is clean,quite and beautiful views. But if you want more than just relax and expect healthy earthy foods and plenty options for breakfast etc,look further. Keep in mind the distances as well. Again. If you are there to visit,you will be having looong drives to reach the landmarks.

Considering the location was in the village, we exoected fresh local products,not store bought. I mean,we did that ourselves eventually,as breakfast was sweets only.

Room was as described. A nice garden is available and the breakfast was very good.
