Agriturismo con cucina Il Favaio

Posto facilmente raggiungibile dall' uscita Chiusi dell' autostrada. Al ritorno dalla Sicilia abbiamo sentito la necessità di fare una sosta. Questo agriturismo ci ha sorpreso in tutto: accoglienza, familiarità, professionalità, bontà del cibo, pulizia, attenzione del cliente e un panorama eccezionale durante la cena, squisita peraltro. Sono stata riportata alle mie origini umbre, sensazioni nostalgiche che scaldano il cuore. Grazie a Rebecca e Roberto che sono persone eccezionali nella loro professionalità e semplicità nello stesso tempo. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. 🤩🤩🤩

We had the most wonderful stay at Il Favaio as a family of five adults and two children. From the moment we arrived, Roberto and Rebecca made us feel completely at home – they are truly some of the kindest and warmest people we have ever met. Their hospitality went far beyond expectations and made our experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely incredible – fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. What touched us most was how thoughtful Roberto and Rebecca were with the children, preparing special dishes just for them according to their taste. This made the kids feel happy and included, and it made our family dinners even more enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, offering everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. And the terrace – the view is simply breathtaking! It was the perfect spot to enjoy our meals together, a glass of wine, or simply to take in the beauty of the Umbrian countryside. We cannot recommend this agriturismo highly enough. If you are looking for a true Italian countryside experience with amazing hosts, delicious food, and stunning views, Il Favaio is the perfect place. We are already dreaming of coming back!

We stayed at Il Favaio as a family of 5 adults and 2 children and had an unforgettable experience. Roberto and Rebecca are the nicest people we’ve ever met – warm, welcoming, and especially wonderful with the kids, even preparing special dishes just for them according to their taste. The food was amazing, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. A perfect agriturismo for families or anyone wanting authentic hospitality, delicious meals, and stunning countryside views. We can’t wait to come back!

What Roberto and Rebecca have created is simply wonderful. A lovely farmhouse, set in the most wonderful landscape. This is a blissful retreat and it's been created with such purpose and intent, it's inspirational. Dinner (we had four there) beat, holistically, any meal I've had in London in years.

Il Favaio is pure gastvrijheid, dankzij twee enorm hardwerkende mensen. Rebecca kookt heerlijke, biologische gerechten, grotendeels van eigen land of uit Umbrië, terwijl Roberto met passie de verhalen achter het eten en de agriturismo deelt. Prachtige locatie, geweldig uitzicht, comfortabele kamers en een heerlijk zwembad – alles klopt.

What an idyllic oasis. Roberto and Rebecca are the best hosts, describing food, recommendations for visits and help with local wine. Don’t bother trying local restaurants, have your evening meal here. A wonderful selection of their produce and local tastes. Some places expect that organic food is enough of a reason to eat there; this is not the case here. Their organic food produces great ingredients, buts it’s the actual meals themselves that are so flavoursome - down to the chef and the ingredients both. Highlights …. - fab breakfast with local (organic) ingredients …apple juice, coffee, yogurt, honey, hams, bread, jam, fresh cake etc - Pool is awesome - View from terrace for breakfast or evening meals - Location for exploring local hilltop towns (recommend Civita di Bagnoregio and Cortona) - a/c bedrooms with brilliant views - Visit the pigs, chickens, olives … you might even be lucky enough to see some wild deer. And the sunsets…. Thanks Roberto and Rebecca for the memories
