Re-imagined Stone Barns in the Country Near the Coast

Lovely property, very well maintained and clean. The facilities all seemed really new. Comfortable beds with good quality linen. Towels, slippers and dressing gown a nice touch. excellent location for getting to lots of beaches and different costal towns. All within 15 mins drive. Very peaceful area, so felt calm and relaxing when you came back for the night. Really lovely owners who were friendly and helpful, but not in your face!

Very well designed, small but perfectly formed and usable. Kitchen only small but all you needed. Shower excellent, lovely studio with good size bathroom. Hosts very helpful, covered parking and great location

Spacious, clean, very comfortable bed, quiet and peaceful and facilities were all we needed. There was also undercover parking which, given the wt weather was really beneficial. Hosts were helpful and friendly also.

What let this week down completely and utterly for us was the fact the wifi had broken, we were informed of this on our arrival and told it was not being fixed until the day we left! Not acceptable in this day and age. Its the first thing most people will look to see if provided...I suffer from insomnia and will read the newspaper in the middle of the night and unless I went outside in the courtyard where I could actually get the internet I was scuppered. So disappointed that no effort was made to fix the problem sooner than a weeks time. Minor niggles.... the lock in the door was a nightmare... was reported to the owner who just said '' yes I know about it'' Maybe a new barrel would be a good idea? The toilet was a nightmare to flush and the whole thing wobbled every time you tried to flush it. I had to ask my husband to come and do it for me every time I used the loo. This was not reported (too embarrassed) The kitchen is far too small to be actually able to ''cook'' anything in. Fine for toast and tea in the morning but anything else we really struggled for room. The fridge is far too small, and there is no storage space to put food whatsoever. When I booked I genuinely thought I had booked the bigger barn next door, I went on the photos on booking.com's website which were (when I booked) only of the bigger barn, so I thought we were getting a full size kitchen with washing machine and a proper size oven not just a microwave and a two ring electric hob. My mistake...

The fridge in the kitchen was very tiny. I think it should state on the property information that it is a mini fridge. Also there wasn't a proper oven just a microwave combo which wasn't great. The road outside was quite noisy.
