This cottage was fabulous. We loved the homely feel and it was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed and so much more. There were numerous welcoming touches and 2 wonderful fireplaces, with plenty of comfortable seating. It has an enormous kitchen, several fridges, comfortable beds, lots of pillows and towels. The well tended gardens frame the relaxing view out over the farmlands.

"Amazing family and dog friendly farm accommodation"

Oakvlei was an absolutely amazing cottage. Such a beautiful big well fenced garden even for smaller dogs and a great family game of touch rugby. The house was beautifully furnished with wall heaters and electric blankets in each room. The main bedroom is so beautiful with its own fire place apart from a lovely big main fire place in the main lounge. We enjoyed watching rugby in the 2nd lounge with a TV. Huge country kitchen which was so well stocked with utilities. A added bonus was a coffee station off the lounge, lots of fridges and freezers made a group stay easy. Our kids loved the table tennis table. We visited the farm dams and Carol gave us a great tour of the diary. Would highly recommend this amazing place, perfect for a family/dog friendly holiday.

Beautiful house with so much charm. All you need is food and your clothes because everything else was available. Including fresh farm milk and homemade rusks!

We were really pleased with our stay at the Oakvlei Farm house. Extremely clean room. We loved the contemporary design, modern and with all the facilities needed. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in and around Mooi river. The staff are very good, were very friendly and helpful. Thanks Carol for your love and hospitality. God bless you!
