We LOVED staying at the Mohaonui Farmstay. It was very close to Otorohanga and the Waitomo Caves, so picking up supplies was no issue. But it did not feel close to anything. It felt like its own world straight from the fantasy books. Gorgeous open fields with nothing but the nearby cows to wake you up in the morning. The place was super cozy and warm. It was very clean. The owners were so kind and took the time to meet up to show us where everything was. When we were running a little late, they actually took the time to message us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
