Mohaonui Farmstay

The property was beautifully peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast was great and our hosts made us feel very much at home.

The quiet setting, food that was stocked, and the nice conversations I had with both hosts was great. After a long flight and drive, the large bed was a great thing to relax on.

Beautifully presented, compact cottage. Despite freezing conditions, we were completely comfortable - great bed and shower! Generous breakfast provisions, and absolutely lovely hosts - we’d go back in a heartbeat:-) And a special shout-out to Snowdog, the coolest cat around!

A slightly larger fridge would be helpful.

We had an amazing stay at this farmhouse guesthouse! Thanks to the farmer host and his wife for patiently showing us around the room and recommending a great place for dinner. We really appreciated the farmer host taking us on a tractor tour of his farm, showing us how it operates and how they milk the cows. It was a unique experience, and we learned so much. The farm is beautiful. The bed in the guesthouse was very soft, and the room was exceptionally clean. The view from the room was fantastic, especially the stunning sunrise. The host's pet dog, Rose, was adorable, and I especially liked her, as well as their cat, which I also really liked! This is an amazing place! We had a very comfortable night."

Its clean, tidy 1 bedroom cottage. Hospitality and farm surrounding will definitely win your heart.

No oven to cook small meal for long stay guests, if required.

Lovely little suite in a beautiful country setting. Although compact, the space was clean and comfortable. Comfy bed. Breakfast was not only provided but there was also ample and sufficient choice. Warm, hospitable hosts. The warm welcome provided by the resident cat “Snowdog” was purrrrfect!

From the moment we arrived, they were VERY welcoming. The room was absolutely perfect. They were both so friendly. We chatted for a bit and got recommendations for a sightseeing flight tour(we ultimately ended up booking). They also offered for us to use the laundry room and gave us a tour of the farm. If we ever come back to NZ, we will definitely stay here again. It was perfect in every way!

Host is extremely friendly and make us feel really welcome. Room is super cozy.
