Best breakfast ever. Very friendly and helpful owners.

We loved the hotel. The hosts made us very welcome. Our bedroom was huge and included a lovely sitting area to relax. The bed was very comfortable with nice linen. There was tea and coffee facilities available all day in the dining room for you to help yourself. Breakfast was superb, cold meats, cheese, bread, cakes, jams you would not leave hungry. There was also an outdoor courtyard for you to sit in. Location was good for the town only a few minutes walk. Shame we could not stay longer. Parking outside the front door.

Very welcoming and friendly host. Absolutely amazing house with furniture from the period. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of local product of great quality. Simply amazing saty.

Es un palacete antiguo hermoso, con un decorado exquisito, la habitación y el baño son super amplios, cómodos y muy limpios, la ubicación es perfecta, el desayuno supera cualquier expectativa, pero lo mejor, es la familia

There's nothing not to like about the stay at Solar das Avencas. The best breakfast you can get anywhere, combined with excellent staff and very big and comfortable bedrooms. It does not get much better than this.

I can't find anything I didn't like, at all. I'm very happy with my stay at Solar das Avencas and hope to stay there again.

Another great stay at Solar das Avencas, and hopefully we can make it back soon. The size of the rooms, the superb breakfast and the excellent staff. The house is like a museum with fantastic furniture and old antics, so much to admire. Easy parking just outside the front. Near good restaurants and shops.

Todo. Una experiencia magnífica. Tanto los dueños de la casa (Antonio y Maria Rosa) como Manuela (que está ahí para hacer de la estancia una experiencia inmejorable) son amables y atentos, procurando que no falte nada y sea todo perfecto. La casa es una maravilla, enorme y cuidada hasta el último detalle. El desayuno un banquete de ensueño. Estamos agradecidos, volveremos a visitaros en Portalegre!!!!
