We loved staying at the Olive Tree. Even though its on a farm, the air is fresh. Beautiful well cared for animals. The scenery is breathtaking. If peace and beauty is what you looking for this is you place.

"Simple cottage located in amazing location."

Amazing location, surrounded by nature and mountain views. Only 10 mins by car from Franschhoek city center, so close to stores but far enough to feel completely relaxed. 400 meters from an enclosure with 2 zebras and wildebeest, which was nice to walk by. Beds were very comfortable, and the cottage was simple but had most things you would need for a short stay.

The place itself was clean, but it could use some small attention (e.g., the master bedroom had a mold spot on the ceiling, the sheets had (dry) stains on them but smelled fresh, and the master bedroom door didn't close when it rained, so the machine in the hallway kept waking us up at night).

"Lovely, simple cottage with a view"

Lovely view, comfy beds, fireplace and stoep.

Shower temp was extremely hard to regulate, kitchen tap completely loose and dishwasher had seen better days, but we we were grateful that we could manage them all with some effort and enjoy our short stay.

"Rustic cottage in the scenic winelands..."

Good value for money. Location is very scenic and relatively close to the town. Check-in process was easy and quick.

WiFi didn't work. Shower pressure was dismal. Sheets had some marks.
