Beautiful scenery & very peaceful. Exceptionally clean & comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Zebra, impala & wildebeest roam freely just past the cottage verandah, which was a lovely spot to sit & relax. We really enjoyed our complimentary wine tasting & informative host. The retreat is also close to many great vineyards by car - we'd recommend the Creation Winery for its amazing views, friendly staff & good coffee.

This was easily one of my favourite stays in the Cape Town area. The setting is absolutely stunning, with everything you could possibly need and exceptional value for money. Waking up to zebras, wildebeest, springbok and other wildlife just outside your private veranda was magical. The accommodation itself is clean, peaceful, and incredibly well-priced for the experience you get. In my opinion, this is one of the best-value stays not just in South Africa, but anywhere in the world. If you’re reading this review to decide whether or not to book—stop reading and book it now. You won’t regret it.
