The villa was absolutely gorgeous and the family who runs it was wonderful! They helped organize a wine tour for us, breakfast was beautiful in the courtyard, and we took an amazing cooking class at the property, all of which were definite highlights of our trip! The view was beautiful, as the villa is situated on a hill in Tuscany, and we enjoyed the pool, sunsets, and history. The apartment was also beautiful, and they gave us use of the piano room as well, which we enjoyed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the villa to couples or families looking for a beautiful Tuscan vacation.

- It may look a bit unmaintained on the outside with tools / stuff thrown around the building - No restaurant on site, closest ones are at 10 minutes drive

We booked the entire vila for an aniversary. The location is amaizing with breathtaking views. The vila is superb and spotless clean. We opted to have have the breakfast and the aniversary dinner served at the location. The food was exceptional, everything cooked on presmis, with all the ingredients sourced from their own garden or the neghbouring farms. Our host, organized everything in an excptional way. Would recomand to anyone looking for authentic scenray, gastronomic experience and time inTuscany.

Very beautiful location, you will find you in the middle of the nature, without neighbours , just perfect to recharge your batteries. Very clean, modern combined with vintage furniture in a very nice way. For the breakfast you need to pay, 14 euros/ person, we did and Barbara prepared a very nice breakfast with a view over the wineyards. There’s a possibility to do laundry, 15 euros. And also, you have possibility to ask for a private dinner , we did it and everything was more than perfect. Very romantic and attention on details with a great food and wine. We definitely recommend villa montecastello.
