If the rating was about the friendly staff or the incredible farm location with the amazing view and the type of quiet that warms your soul - then I would have given a 10/10 but unfortunately for us, a gorgeous view doesn’t give you a nutritious breakfast or a comfortable nights sleep.

1. The mattresses were hideous to sleep on. I was given a queen bed which was two very old single mattresses pushed together. Both of these sagged significantly in the middle the only part of them that gave even a little support was the spine down the middle that joined the mattresses together we. My back hurt, I didn’t sleep well and couple with the sheets and the breakfast - put me and my son in a place where our immune system lowered and we ended up getting a really (really) bad flu which then ruined the next week of our first holiday in Italy. 2. The sheets and duvet were extremely thin and not sufficient for the cold weather. They were also made of such a cheap material both my son and I were extremely itchy which doubles down the effect of the matteresses. 3. If you like having a buffet dessert for breakfast then this is your place as they will serve ten types of cake, bread and croissants. But if you were looking for a substantial breakfast that would provide nutritional , protein and sustenance for your day long excursions …. Their breakfast will leave you deeply disappointed. With cafes being so expensive, I had researched and chose this place also based on the reviews of their breakfast and the photos that looked like cooked breakfasts with eggs etc in the photos - this isn’t the case. 4. The road in to the property is a 1.5km “Off road” track. Massive potholes and a two wheel drive will have its tyres slip and spin on multiple sections (in Australia I drive in off road tracks all the time so know poor conditioned roads when I see them). I was lucky I added the full insurance to my hire car, If I hadn’t, I would have been in danger of massive excess fees because of how poor the condition of the track is and the damage that was done to the car in getting in and out of the place to your Tuscany each day. 5.

The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vines, olive trees, and cypress trees! The facilities are great, and the pool is lovely. The host family was so nice and friendly! We had delicious food there for breakfast with homemade cake. We really recommend having dinner to test local produce. The wild boar ham was so tasty.

At first the rocky road to the property seems daunting, but actually was no problem once we knew where we were going. Best not attempted in a low sports car We had dinner one evening which was ok, but we felt it was quite expensive for what we got.

Un luogo ameno immerso nel verde e circondato da un silenzio incredibile e quasi inaspettato. Personale molto cortese e disponibile, gestione familiare e genuina. Struttura e servizi impeccabili. Vale la pena visitarlo!
