The Stable

First of all, amazing hosts, Jimmy and Sheila made us feel very welcome from the start. The cottage we had booked is perfect for a stay for two people, very cozy. The location is perfect as you can get within 20mins top to everything you’d need; pub, restaurant, beach. Lots of beautiful places around. The farm and it’s story is amazing and very impressive. Jimmy took us for a lovely tour around the farm, we even got a chance to see the world champion sheep shearer! I can truly recommend this place

There was nothing I didn’t like

Lovely location in well managed working farm. Convenient for many destinations in North Cornwall.

So easy to get lost in all the tiny country lanes. In 4 days, we got lost at least 5-6 times. Like a maze in the Bermuda Triangle! Hardly a criticism, just a reflection on our poor navigation.

Missed not being able to have Wi-Fi !

Travelling down for a wedding with my sister and glad we chose the stable, its a lovely self contained room with lots of amenities. It was so peaceful and quiet we slept very well on the very comfortable bed.

My sister wasn't best pleased she had no signal or WiFi. Oops. Least I did :)

beautiful farm surroundings, quiet. Sheila was friendly and informative about local history and her long family history, and places to visit

most of space in room taken up by huge bed. I had expected more spacious kitchen facilities since breakfast was not included. nowhere comfortable to sit ( though could use patio outside) No internet , either signal for phone or WiFi.

The best thing was the tour around the farm
