Agriturismo Cantina Morone

Everything. Our hosts were amazing Maria and Pasquale treated us more like family than just guests. From the moment we arrived we felt part of their family. We had an amazing stay and have made life long friends.

We liked it

The food provided for breakfast (included) and dinner (optional for very reasonable cost) was amazing. The owner made the bread, olive oil, and yogurt and the wine is from their winery. All the ingredients fresh and everything prepared with the finest attention to detail. Dinners were 5 course dinners. Breakfast was hearty enough that we always skipped lunch. They asked about any food allergies and always asked if we liked things before finalizing the menu. For example do we line fish and seafood. They are also extremely friendly. While they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Italian communication via Google translate and/or another guest that spoke both English and Italian allowed for clear communication.

This was very minor but check-in procedures were slightly confusing. The address to the place is not where you enter. Instead you enter in the rear on a different street. I think this is information booking.com could provide via email prior to arrival. However, the owner must have been looking for our arrival as he came to the front and had us follow him to the street in the rear.

We loved everything about our stay! The breakfast was out of this world and we are still thinking about it! The owners were so incredibly kind and helpful. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home, and the bathroom felt like a little spa. Cannot recommend this place enough! You need to go here! They are so generous and felt like family. Nice quiet town, friendliest people, a minute walk to a wonderful pizza place. Close to nearby towns.

Cantina Morone is een wijnmakerij, wat je aan de buitenkant niet zou verwachten. Bij aankomst kregen we van Eleonora, de dochter des huizes en wijnmaakster, een rondleiding door de wijn makerij en werd een fles Falanghina geopend, deze witte druif komt uit de Campania. Heerlijk,. Het door moeder Maria vers bereide ontbijt was een feest. Kraakschone ruime kamer.

De ligging van het huis in Guardia Sanframondi is niet heel bijzonder, maar het oude stadje op loopafstand is zeker de moeite waard.

Proprietari accoglienti e super disponibili, camera molto pulita e ben curata. La struttura è a pochi passi dal centro ed è perfetta per una fuga dal caos della città.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Maria is a wonderful host and chef. The highlight of every day was enjoying the delicious breakfast she prepared for us. We loved seeing the garden and vineyard with Pasquale, who was so generous with his time. We had so much fun cooking with Raffaella and Eleonora. We have memories from our stay that we will cherish forever. It felt like visiting with family. We look forward to returning in the future!

Wish we could have stayed longer :)
