Great location and great view from the pool, all very clean and comfortable and the family are great hosts. Would really recommend and hope to return sometime soon.

E' una struttura storica ma perfettamente tenuta, le stanze sono spaziose e arredate con ottimo gusto. Letti comodi. Lo spazio esterno è veramente importante, con una splendida piscina e molti altri servizi (veranda imponente, sdraio, teli, tavolo da ping-pong, bici, cucina in condivisione etc). Quiete e silenzio la fanno da padrona. Giovanni & sua moglie sono stati sempre gentili e disponibili. Assolutamente da consigliare.

Più che cose non piaciute diciamo che posso segnalare un paio di cose che hanno reso un po' meno spettacolare il soggiorno. La prima cosa è la colazione, gestita con un foglio su cui andare a selezionare il cibo e le bevande desiderate. A mio modo di vedere non predispone benissimo il cliente, un semplice buffet come fanno un po' ovunque sarebbe stato molto meglio. La seconda cosa, ovviamente non imputabile ai gestori, è stata la presenza massiccia di api/vespe/zanzare e quant'altro che hanno infastidito i momenti di relax. Non è colpa di nessuno però in due giorni ci siamo beccati due punture con annesso giro al Pronto Soccorso. Non sono un esperto e non so se si possa fare qualcosa per provare a tenere lontane queste creature, però è un punto d'attenzione. Ovviamente gli aspetti positivi sono di gran lunga più importanti.

Borgo la Morra is a beautiful and very cute small hotel-resort with only a few rooms and two apartments available. The hosts are really nice and friendly. We stayed in the lovely apartment Rita which has a walk in closet, spacious bathroom and separate spacious master bedroom. The bed is very comfortable, and you get 4 pillows. I wasn’t aware we had to book a bed for our 2 year old, but the host was so nice to provide us with one for free (usually that’s apparently €40 per night which is a bit much) so it made it even nicer of him to provide it! There is a nice pool, and there is always a set of sun-beds, seats & umbrella’s available at the pool. The host will reserve as many sun-beds for all the guests so no need to put your towel somewhere in the morning. Also… there is a Jacuzzi. Please notice the Jacuzzi is only open until 7pm! The hotel will provide two hammam towels and a pool-bag for guests in the resort for during your stay. We also brought our own pool towels as I prefer thicker towels. One of the things I already miss is the sound of the birds chirping in the morning. At home we have a Zwitscherbox at home playing the same sounds and it is so relaxing. I also can’t forget to mention the amazing views and also the amazing state of maintenance. It’s clean, well maintained and even at night we went for a mini stroll in the evening with our toddler. Another plus: free parking on site. There is a gate at the entrance and no need to drive small roads you prefer not to drive on to enter the resort/hotel 🤭. After a precious experience in Greece, we were a bit afraid we had to go on bumpy and rocky roads but no need to worry about that. Upon arrival the oven didn’t seem the work, but it was solved immediately (we could use another kitchen for that moment) and the next morning it was replaced with a new one. Also, the kitchen has a large table, large fridge and freezer, a stove-top and dishwasher (huge plus) plus over.

Hard to say. There is always room for improvement, but nothing that would impact my rating/score. - Standard provide a coffee-maker/machine in the apartments (and/or suites). I always like that when I am traveling. We received one from the host when we asked for it :) - Thicker pool-towels (probably personal preference). - Longer opening hours for jacuzzi, but on the other hand I also understand that the hosts want some time off as well as it is ran by the two owners alone.

Heel mooi domein. Gastheer die werkelijk alles doet om het naar je zin te maken.

Helaas geen verwarmd zwembad.
