Der Bäcksteinerhof liegt herrlich mitten in den grünen Apfelhängen. Die Gastgeber sind supernett und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war einmalig und abwechslungsreich. Toll ist auch die Südtirolgästekarte, die für sehr viele Busstrecken rund um Meran und sogar für die Seilbahn und die Rittenbahn in Bozen gilt.

Um abends nochmal kurz auf einen Drink o.a. in die Stadt zu gehen, liegt das Hotel etwas weit vom Zentrum weg, insbesondere bei Regenwetter. Wir empfehlen daher direkt nach der Tagestour gleich irgendwo einzukehren und den Abend dann ganz ruhig im Hotel ausklingen zu lassen.
