The personal touches were very quaint and sweet, the rustic atmosphere charming, Daria is a fantastic hostess, and her cheese and cakes are very good. It is a nice getaway for a couple of days if you like the quiet of a farm, but want to remain close to the hot springs nearby. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and friendly faces surround you at breakfast. Everyone is very personable and caring.

I wish it had an on site washer/dryer machine (dual unit) included- as it is right by the main draw to the area- Saturnia Hot Springs. There is nowhere to launder things (hot springs are great but stuff stinks afterwards from bathing there) and I think it is important to have the option to clean your clothing properly. It would also be great to be able to purchase on site her milk+cheeses etc to make dinner independently instead of going out- like a little store that hosts items to buy that are local and similar to what she deliciously serves for breakfast. Breakfast could use a selection of vegetables, but it is really good still. Rooms are comfy, but toilets flush very loudly, so prepare for that if you have little ones that startle easily.

The farm of Daria is amazing. The location, the views, the animals, the garden - everything is perfect. Daria was super welcoming, let us feel like at home. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. You can find delicious homemade cheeses, wine and olive oil that all made in the farm with other pastas and other goodies in the farm shop. The breakfast is very very good, with variety of cheeses, bread, cakes and drinks and it is very generous. It was a great family stay and we were sorry to leave only after one night, going back to the big city….

What did I like? Everything! The photos do not do this place justice. And the hostess was even nicer than one could imagine. She was so sweet to us and our kids. She makes her own olive oil, cheese, cured meet, and wine. And it's all DELICIOUS. For breakfast She let's you try it all (minus the wine) while also having fruit and homemade cake. You can also buy her tasy oil, lovely wine, many goat cheeses, and some other local goods in her beautiful farm shop on the property. If you love quality, home made food, a real working farm with sheep, cows, pigs, olive trees, a vinyard and rolling views of the countryside with a perfect, clean and comfortable location with the ability to cook for yourself, if needed, this place is for you. For anyone who wants to live the dream in Tucany. Also, super close to the thermal bath! For reference, we were 4 people. 2 adults and 2 toddlers who loved walking the farm too! pro tip: bring boots if you want to walk the farm, because, it's a farm. An everything you want out of the Tuscany countryside, all in one, farm.

What I didn't like? I did not like leaving. I would go again. And again. It's a perfect place.

If you want to experience the Tuscan countryside in a farm setting, this was such a wonderful and unique experience. The animals (we loved Baloo, Flicka, Licha, the sheep, the cows, the cats, and the horse!), the olive oil (made on-site), the pecorino cheese (made on-site), the red wine - La Bevina I think - also made by this amazing family….the breakfast, lovingly made by Daria. Daria was such a kind host, happy to explain the many slow food traditions they’ve preserved from their local culture. Breakfast each morning was so incredible with many options of homemade foods (cakes, cantucci, eggs, cheese, salami, bread…the list goes on!). There are hot springs within a ten minute drive called Cascate del Mulino, absolutely breathtaking and totally relaxing.

The room was adequate, but the bed/sheets were not the most comfortable. Otherwise it had everything we needed for our stay. You will need a car to access this area of Tuscany and to get around the countryside as it is remote.

Owners are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was homemade and all of it was amazing! The animals were all very cute and the property is phenomenal. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean and ready for our terrific day.
