Casa do Campo - A Minha Casa

Property was lovely both inside and outside. The patio and garden were especially nice to enjoy cool evenings. Liked having parking even though it meant backing into the small space from the busy street. Portuguese drivers were polite. Owner was very responsive.

No central A/C; room units didn’t cool well.

Ruim huis met 2 badkamers, voorzien van alle faciliteiten.

De drukke weg aan de voorkant. Alles is wel een beetje verouderd. Iedere ruimte is wel aan een kleine opknapbeurt toe, maar je kan er prima verblijven. Af en toe een kakkerlak, die gek genoeg altijd de volgende ochtend dood ligt. Maar welkom op de Azoren.

The countryside house is a beautiful place very well remodeled. It’s cozy and spacious. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were more than enough. We had private parking that came in very handy. The kitchen was well equipped, it’s actually a charming home. The host was also very friendly. All in all, highly recommended.

There’s a few bugs here and there but it’s a countryside house so it’s expectable. Maybe a disinfection and better isolation could help with that.

This lovely clean comfortable renovated traditional Azorean cottage is located within close driving distance of supermarkets, restaurants, beaches, and sights. We could drive anywhere on the island with ease. Well equipped kitchen. The outdoor area, with new furniture and umbrella, was a great place to share family meals. Responsive owner. Very well set up for a young family/baby with cot, high chair & bath (although we didn’t need it).

The second room has very limited wardrobe space for storing clothes. If you’re only staying a few days, it’s ok, but when staying longer you want to unpack and be a bit more comfortable.

Very friendly owner, perfect that the apartment was cleaned several times during our 2 weeks stay. Garden is very nice and spacious. Great for our kids (2yr and 5yr) as well as for dinners/BBQ

Minha Casa is in a great location to tour the north coast... with several great restaurants near by. The house had everything we needed and many nice touches (washing machine, coffee filter + coffee). Rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and well appointed.

The only two drawbacks are 1) extra-care needed to be taken getting in/out of the driveway as the house is on a busy street, 2) need better ventilation in home as it traps humidity (although there we two dehumidifiers that made it comfortable).
