The tranquility, beautiful landscape, the wildlife.

The cold water when showering. The smoke from the gas freezer was in our noses. We realized in the morning that our noses were black inside.

The whole location, away from it all, the peacefulness, the quietness, being in touch with nature!! To hear the quietness and no noise distractions. A visit by a four-legged family member ( a female zebra) was an added bonus!! The variety of bird life was great!! The simplicity of the facilities, modern day camping !! The large braai facilities was excellent for a relaxing fire and to see the full moon rise!!

Everything was wonderful. Enjoyed the birds and wildlife.

Too many flies and the toilet issue was something that was a bit off putting. The weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the river to its full potential.
