swimming pool is amazing

The accomodation was very nice, beautiful swimming pool and terrace for our appartment. Nice and friendly host who gave us recommendations for trips in the neigbourhood. Location was close to syracuse and beaches.

Bed was too solid for our taste.

This was our second stay at this lovely property. Cristina, the owner, is beyond welcoming and helpful. She can give you great information about the area. The property is so peaceful. It’s a great location for a base to explore Ortigia, Noto, Marzamemi etc. It is wonderful to take a morning sightseeing trip and then return to the property for an afternoon swim and sit under the olive trees to read a book. Our kitchenette had all the basics. Plenty of space to unpack and organize your things. Very clean. Ask Cristina to send you to her neighbor for some fresh ricotta (so good)!

Everything. And Cristina the host is a gem, always helpful and with great restaurant recommendations.

We had the great fortune of spending two nights at Christina's agriturismo, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Christina's warm personality permeates the entire place. She provided invaluable tips for planning our days. The pool became a refreshing oasis. Our children loved it, and so did we. "Make yourselves at home," Christina said. And we truly did. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely agriturismo in a great location not only 15 mins from Siracusa. We chose it to get away from the city for a few days and we got a peaceful, beautiful spot in the country. Christina, the host, is very helpful and friendly and a great person to chat to - thank you.

Cristina and Maria will make you feel at home... only much better! The property is a beautiful working farm with lovely olive trees hundreds of years old. The farm buildings have been carefully renovated with lovely wood accents (when you close those wonderful window shutters, be sure to set your alarm or you may sleep all day!) plus a roomy, tiled bathroom. The room has thoughtful touches like a pod coffee machine, lights on the bedside tables and drying racks out front for your swimsuits, etc. You'll enjoy sitting with coffee on the covered porch in front of your room and the view of the swimming pool and the olive trees. Cristina truly made us feel at home, offering a great map full of her favorite local restaurants and sights. And Maria, Cristina's mother, is your new Italian Grandmother that everyone wishes they had. Thank you all for a fabulous time. Everyone should experience hospitality and care like at Sant'Elia! We did not want to leave... ever!

I must admit that I am very spoiled by a memory foam mattress at my home and I did miss it.
