The view is amazing!

Wonderful stay just wish it was longer. One night was not enough to soak up the glorious surrounds, warm hospitality and spacious, comfortable accommodation.

The calm area surrounded by nature. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Hemel and Aarde Valley, next door to Newton Johnson and close to other great vineyards in the area. It is 9 km from the Hemel and Aarde Village. Wonderful views, peaceful working farm environment. Large living area, small kitchen but with stovetop, oven, microwave, coffee machine and safe deposit box. No aircon as stated on the booking sheet, but there are ceiling fans in the bedroom and lounge. Spacious bathroom and secure parking for one car behind a gate, away from the cattle that roam the farm. There is a small shop that stocks limited items in the reception area.

Because it's a farm, there were quite a lot of flies, despite the screens on some windows. Perhaps a flyswatter would be a good addition. The gate to the parking didn't have a peg on it and the wind was very strong so there is a risk of the gate slamming into your car just as you drive through. A simple peg that can rest on the ground to keep it open would be great. These are small things - it is a great place to relax for a night or two.
