Ospitalita' Rurale Casa Cani

What a fabulous welcome from the owners! We had a lovely one night stay here to break our journey down from Switzerland with our boat. We were very happy to be able to have dinner at the hotel rather than having to head out again after such a long drive.

It was amazing and the hosts in particular. They prepared great dinner for us even we hadn’t booked it in advance. Finally Francesca took us back to Francigena by car what saved us from long(1.6m) and steep (~150m elevation) uphill climb . Grazie, grazie, grazie ❤️

Would be great to have a curtains on the room windows. The sun gets up very early in the morning.

Delicious homemade breakfast, super warm hospitality and the lovely decorated rooms

Difficulty to reach the place without a car (our mistake, we should have better checked the station's address)

Outstanding beautiful casa and Francesca is a lovely host. She even gave us a lift to the restaurant and brought our bags up the hill to the starting point when we were leaving. Her homemade yoghurt cake, honey & jams weren't bad either!!!

Bit of a steep hill for heavy touring trek bikes to go back up in the morning. However Francesca's casa more than compensates!

Lovely old stone villa surrounded by farm land and trees. Great location close to the town of Berceto. Delicious breakfasts prepared by the host using local produce and homemade bead. During our 4 day stay we were made to feel very welcome.

Exceptional place. Lovely welcoming couple Francesca and Tommy, who kindly provided a great meal for us as we were travelling by bike. Great breakfast too

Kind staff, calm surrounding, safe parking and great building style.
