O contacto ser só via mensagens pela aplicação booking. Na primeira noite não havia roupa de cama para o sofá cama. Tivemos que improvisar. A piscina estava verde! Só foi limpa ao 3 dia. Já se nota a necessidade de manutenção em alguns materiais, mobiliário.

Lugar para descansar y desconectar, tranquilidad asegurada. El personal reaccionó muy rápido ante un problema.

Llevamos años alojándonos en Burro Ville y aunque sigue siendo una buena opción para descansar y visitar las playas de la costa Vicentina, ha perdido muchos detalles respecto a hace tres o cuatro años, no hay desayuno, no hacen las habitaciones, mantelería y sin embargo el precio es el mismo.

- if you’re not a family with kids, prepare that you will be barring and seeing kids playing all the time outside your windows - contact with personel was bad; I asked for laundry and was told it will be arranged. The day I wanted to do laundry, I asked again and suddenly the was no laundry machine anymore… - coffee machine was not working, I asked for help and no one answered - lots of annoying flies in the apartment - the breakfast for 15 euros were cheap, store-bought products. + lady showing me donkeys was super sweet,

Spacious and cozy apartment, cleanliness, well equipped apartment with all amenities and toiletries, kitchenware, very clean territory and the pool, calm and relaxing spot.

Entrance driveway is in bad condition - need to watch-out to enter or exist safely with your car.

A very peaceful place in the middle of nowhere but not too far from a few good restaurants and from the town of Portimao. The unit, beautiful created by the original owners, is very pleasant. I just wish they would get more client-focussed managers on board. I had booked especially for the burros, and as it was my birthday, I did not let up with requesting a burro visit. Finally, they sent a very nice young man around to take me to the animals. So if you book, insist they keep their promises.

The decription on booking.com does not match what is actually offered. Breakfast service seems to exist only in reviews of the past, visits with the burros are no longer possible (although I pestered them until I succeeded), no daily housekeeping, no groceries delivered, no concierge service, no massages etc etc - it's all hype, neatly wrapped in 101 PR jargon. NO STAFF ANYWHERE. I take it from the reviews that things have drastically changed at Burro Ville since a Real Estate Mangement Company, Host Wise in Porto, took over. Now it's bare bones and bare bones, only. Also, I wanted to cancel after finding out that they were not keeping their end of the deal, but since the cancellation period had already expired, they didn't allow me to cancel without paying a hefty fee. AND READ THE FINE PRINT: they charge EUR 119 for a cleaning fee, even for a one night stay. And the cleaner gets ... ???
