ZAThe remote setting was exceptional, peaceful and a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The closeness to nature was a blessing. The facility was comfortable and the hosts took care to ensure that everything we needed was in place. The great treat of home-baked vanilla muffins, rusks and cookies made by Rika was a great surprise! The host made us feel very comfortable!
There was nothing not to like except the sand road to the destination!
ZAVery secluded. Amazing watching the zebras and springboks grazing and the star gazing was out of this world. Very quiet and relaxing. Very well equipped house. Nice hike. And the host is just so friendly leaving baked goodies for us to enjoy.
Outside dining options - there is nowhere to have a meal outside unless it is on your lap. Beds are quite hard, especially the single ones. Oven gloves would be a welcome addition - to use both with the oven and around the braai.
NLWonderful place to rewind, relax and braai. In the morning you wake up with the view of zebra’s drinking from your pool, what else could you wish for? The owners are always there for you if you have a question and they are very welcoming. Fully recommended!
DEAn absolut Must-Go! The hosts are the most beautiful people you can imagine. At our arrival we go self-made melk tart and muffins.....the best we ever got. The farm house lays all alone and if you sit with your coffee in the morning the zebras come drinking from the pool, while the Springboks eating in the background. And to whom it may concern: the WLAN in the house is excellent! ;-)
Nothing at all!! But be aware: for self-catering you have to drive a bit! So, if you plan to do so, bring your own stuff on arrival.

RUAmazing villa!! Very helpful and responsive hosts! so beautiful and quite place for relax, where you can see wild animals (zebras were so close). Very clean (pool, rooms and area). we regretted that we were only 1 night. doesn’t wi-fi on the villa, but it’s a plus: you can just relax
ZAWe loved the serenity, beautiful location, the daily feeding of the zebras in front of the house, the visiting peacock, watching the springbok, interesting bird life. The outdoor areas were superb. Rika, Steven and Joseph were extremely welcoming. Rika baked amazing welcome milk tart, rusks, biscuits and muffins. Coffee and tea were lovely too. No WiFi meant we could just relax and enjoy our surroundings. So much attention to making us feel welcome- thank you! A lovely rest haven! Prior to arriving, we did the Sevilla Art Trail at Travellers Rest, which is only 1 hour drive away.
