A beautiful setting more than 1km away from the noisy main road. The Guesthouse room had a fabulous bathroom with barth tub and a shower. The view over grass and a dan towards the Mountains is very nice.

On check-in day there was a lot of noise outside (music, cars, loud voices) -lost likely from the Township close behind the trees. That was a strange combo with the idyllic setting. Its not easy to get in and out without a car. After check-out you cant walk out cause the gate only opens when a car is approaching it. To get in it should be opened after pressing a number on the gate. But one time it took a while till it was answered and in the evening my pizza delivery could not get through cause nobody opened the gate. So I hat to walk to the gate 5mins to pick it up.

Everything. We stayed with our crawling 9 month old baby. We stayed for three nights to see Franschhoek. It was perfect for that. The grounds are beautiful. It’s peaceful and relaxed and very safe. Our request for an extra bed was no issue and sorted for us with no problems. Perfect for a short stay.

If you are self catered it’s tough because you only have a microwave. A toaster would have been a big help for us to sort breakfast with a baby without having to go out first thing.

Pleasant and inexpensive accommodation just inside the Franschoek town limits. The room was very spacious and quite well furnished. Kettle with long-life milk and tea and coffee provided.

The shower was not a good experience at all: just a trickle and extremely sensitive to temperature adjustments, veering from very hot to cold at the slightest touch. Poor sound-proofing: TV noise from the adjacent room was heard throughout the night. A large bedside lamp was fairly precariously balanced - very wobbly and in need of repair. The bed was a bit hard.

Great stay on a very beautiful property! Ideal for exploring the winelands :)

Set in stunning grounds but set deep into the estate so you will need a car or strong legs to get into Franschoek. The decor of the rooms didn't live up to the surroundings - felt a wee bit dated but it was clean and in good order. Absolutely no interaction with staff other than to be let into the estate via intercom. Room cleaned daily.
