"Exceptional"

Beautiful location just outside Vanwyksdorp. Russel and Janine were such friendly hosts. Russel even drove us around town for the best lemon meringue and the small but nice Saturday market. We loved the Mill House, built in the 1800's. Watermill Farm is everything you need for a nice weekend away!

"Gorgeous farm stay in the heart of the Klein Karoo"

Beautiful rustic setting, simple but comfortable, very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved swimming in the dam, being able to clean our bicycles, and getting all the provisions we needed for a sunset braai! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Many of the doorways are curiously low, but that wasn't really an issue, just an oddity.

The cottages are absolutely magnificent and so well kept. They’re designed with such intention for guests and the surrounding environment. It’s quiet and so peaceful. The farm animals are a delight.

"Great escape"

Lavender cottage offered a wonderful stay. The indoor fire place warmed the cottage beautifully. Bed was comfortable . Great farm stay and getaway.

The shower was large and the water warm, but we found the uneven cobblestone on the floor a bit uncomfortable.
