"Beautiful old agricultural home on a hill. Nice pool, nice view, large rooms with living space."

The location and building are beautiful. It is an old converted farm house (brick/stone, not wood) on a hill with a lovely view in every direction of vineyards (near) and farms (more distant) and a valley. The owner was understanding as we were accidentally high-maintenance guests (locked ourselves out, moved into the wrong room, needed help shipping items we left) and it was greatly appreciated. The pool was great. We spent three days here as a break for the kids in the middle of our trip. It was perfect for that.

The mosquitos were pests. They provide citronella rings and plugins, which helped a lot. But bring spray, for sure. We got some the second day and did better. Mattresses are very old, but we slept well on them.
