It’s a beautiful historical property Giancarlo the host is super helpful and friendly, he really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable especially with our two children

Beautiful and classic house with a super nice host. Short drive to Modica and Ragusa. Delicious breakfast and dinner.

Posto molto tranquillo si percepisce subito la serenità trasmessa dall'agreste che circonda la casa dove si respira aria d'altri tempi. Giancarlo un eccellente padrone di casa!

L’accueil, incomparable de Giancarlo, discret mais présent, très attentif à notre bien-être. Le lieu, un petit paradis perdu au milieu des oliviers. Le petit déjeuner somptueux, frais, gourmand dans sa salle à manger personnelle. La maison avec ses céramiques d’époque est un enchantement.

We passed through the gates and down a long straight driveway to a Lovely centuries old house in a quiet setting in Sicily. The high ceilings, beautiful tile floors, and antique doors were lovely. Host Giancarlo was gracious and welcoming, showing us the features of his family's home for 5 generations. Breakfast in the upstairs dining room was perfect, with fresh ricotta and tomatoes and oil for bruschetta, eggs, and homemade croissants filled with crème or perfectly sweetened ricotta, and of course coffee. The double doors were open to see the main balcony and a gorgeous view of the property and beyond throughout the meal. Giancarlo's advice on local dining and insight to sites to visit changed our trip plans for the better. I hope to return to this wonderful home again someday!

Tolle Lage im Grünen umgeben von Oliven- und Orangenbaumkulturen und Agrarflächen Etwas nördlich der Stadt Modica gelegen.. Giancarlo, der überaus sympathische Eigentümer, gab uns interessante Einblicke in die Geschichte seines Landgutes und über die Kultur der Region, sowie wertvolle Tips über Besichtigungen. Sein Frühstück, in gepflegter Atmosphäre und mit netten Gesprächen, liebevoll angerichtet mit hervorragenden Produkten des Agritourismo war besonders köstlich. Wir waren zu dritt auf einer Sizilienrundfahrt unterwegs, den Aufenthalt in Baglio Calanchi und Giancarlo werden wir davon besonders in Erinnerung behalten.

Wir haben dort nicht übernachtet!!! Kein Strom!!! Unterirdische Ausstattung!!!
