Casa de Quintã

We recently had the pleasure of spending five nights at Casa de Quinta in Soalhães, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely unparalleled—each meal felt like a masterpiece, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next. The staff were truly remarkable; their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine care created a warm and welcoming environment that made us feel completely at ease. The atmosphere was safe and serene, allowing us to fully relax and take in the beauty around me. The house itself is breathtaking, seamlessly blending charm and comfort. The gardens and surrounding areas are stunning, offering an oasis of tranquility and a feast for the senses. We wholeheartedly recommend Casa de Quinta to anyone seeking a memorable getaway. It’s an experience we won’t soon forget!

Breakfast was good

Everything - Very exceptional stay, super friendly staff, great pool and a true castle experience. Unfortunately we had to evacuate the place due to wildfires but even in these dramatic circumstances the staff was very helpful - we would have stayed way longer if the nature had decided otherwise

Historial mansion with a chapel . Everything well preserved with original architecture. The grounds were well maintained and beautifully ornate. Amazing views and sun exposure. A very relaxing stay

So much history in a beautiful setting. The dinner and breakfast are exceptional.

Some dirt in one of the rooms and an ashtray left behind but this did not cause us any real problem.

Unfortunately we had a terrible sleep due to very creaky beds and extremely hot in the room. Needs aircon or fan in summer.

Nice and storied manor with a taste of "old Portugal". Very friendly staff. Nice outside areas. Takes dogs which are actually welcome instead of merely tolerated - without charging extra for them. Dinner was nice, too.

The swimming pool looks blue in the pictures but green and opaque when we got there, with a weird smell that I couldn´t identify, the lawned areas around it were muddy. It was also quite crowded in the poolside garden when we were there. The rooms and showers are not the most confortable and you can hear everything from the next door guests.

Great atmosphere of the old building, big garden, nice swimming pool, good dishes, royal atmosphere of meals

stale smell in the room, I recommend that the staff air the room and use scent fresheners
