QVA - Quinta Velha das Amoreiras

The location was perfect! The accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was a little worried about the beds after reading a couple of comments but I have no complaints and slept brilliantly on mine, it was lovely and comfy. Accommodation was lovely and clean, and the mid-stay clean was an added bonus we weren't expecting. The sea pool was great, even if you don't fancy a dip it was a great spot to sit and watch the waves, our children were fascinated with the fish in it. We felt this was the perfect base for our stay in Sao Miguel, we'd love to go back for another visit.

That we had to leave! Only one very very minor point, the kitchen could do with another cupboard/shelf to store food - although I appreciate if people are only staying for 2-3 nights they'd manage fine.

Very nice place with direct access to the sea; our apartment had a breathtaking seaview; very clean and well furnished.

Very nice Quinta close to Vila Franca do Campo. Nice view from the roof terrace. Banana plantation just in front of the house. We could also check-in a bit earlier.

The location was perfect. The sea pool is a really nice feature. Although, we were there when the ocean was a little wild; we still enjoyed going down to the sea pool and enjoyed watching the waves crash in. Everything you need was provided and comfortable. Good parking and close to town.

The furnishings could be updated, couches pretty old and sunken in but otherwise a great place!

Pictures do not even begin to capture the beauty of this place. This place has everything you need to relax and enjoy the Azores. It is convenient to shopping and restaurants, yet the property is quiet and a wonderful place to relax. The villa is comfortable and spacious, yet has a quintessentially Azorean feel to it. I had to do some work while here and the WiFi was fast and reliable. We enjoyed the private terraces and balconies, from which we could hear the waves at the ocean, and grill fresh fish from the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare our meals, and Miguel left us a nice gift basket with local treats as a start for our meals. It was a treat to walk through the banana trees to the private sea pools. This place surpassed all our expectations, and we’d definitely stay again!

The beds were a little firmer than we are used to; many will like this, but it wouldn’t be our preferred type of bed.
