QVA - Quinta Velha das Amoreiras

This place was amazing; the facilities, location, quality, the pool, the view, value for money etc.

This is the only negative i found!!! Lots of lamps but they did not give enough light especially only two red lamps in the bedroom; that made it seem like the emergency lighting in a submarine :) !! But the overall package was a WOW!!!!!!

Fantastic location, both for visiting attractions etc. and for the setting / view. Lovely rustic villa with very homely feel. Very large and comfortable bed. Very well equipped kitchen - including a dishwasher which is a great timesaver when on holiday. Great patio on the roof with brilliant sea views especially at sunset. Other outdoor areas available too. Rockpool is a lovely way to relax at the end of the day. So relaxing next to sea crashing on the rocks - more for wallowing than swimming. Plenty of space for parking. Plenty of useful equpment provided such as binoculars, games. Good communications from owner with all the necessary info provided well in advance of arrival. Welcome pack also much appreciated.

Lighting in lounge area is rather dim.

The location, and the access to 2 pools with a view.

Very spacious with everything you could need

Had problems opening the door to the property. Eventually it broke . It was however mended quickly. In heavy rain the roof leaked and this was reported

We chose this location because of the access to the natural pools and it did not disappoint. Coming back after a day of exploring to soak in the pools was the highlight of our trip. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooftop deck was wonderful for dinners with a view.

There had been water damage in the apartment and it smelled a bit moldy and damp.

The property pool is perfect for the weather there and was using salt instead of chlorine which was nice. A little deep for small kids but floatation devices were provided and allowed the youngest to get used to swimming. The ocean pool at the bottom of the property is even better, even though its a 3min hike to get back up; try at around high tide. Property is clean and has a very cool layout. Small kitchen but you can manage. Amazing view of the ocean ~150 degrees of unobstructed view, bring binoculars. Wood/Coal outdoor grill area. Gated property.

The little towns you have drive through to get there have very narrow roads to get through. Shop before you get there. Restaurant options close enough.

The ocean pool was great and the ocean view spectacular.

Roads can be tricky to drive in villa franco de campo if in a large vehicle as we were, but of course this is no fault of the property.
