Farmhouse Il Santo

This place is a must stay!! Alessandro runs the place brilliantly, super helpful and we can’t wait to hopefully return and stay.

The bedroom pillows could be softer, as they felt too high and firm.

Amazing place, like a paradise on the green hills of Tuscany. Lovely pool area and very nice and service minded host, Alessandro really wanted us to feel like home and we did! Perfectly spacious apartment with most things you need for the stay. Kitchen simple equipped but what you need for breakfast and some dinner cooking, big refrigerator and great gas-stove. Comfortable beds in the bedroom and nice bathroom. Coop in the village is perfect for grocery shopping. One hour drive from Florence and five minutes drive down to the village Greve in Chianti. Where you also find Coop for your grocery shopping. Overall great location for roadtrip discovering new places.

Nothing really. A plus for a foodie would have been an oven but not crucial.

Very peaceful and the view from the pool is postcard Tuscany perfect. A good location to explore the area with a car. The downstairs apartment , a converted farm building is very spacious and very high ceilings so with curtains closed can stay nice and cool. Alessandro is accessible, charming and has great recommendations.

It’s agricultural so mosquitoes and flies are an issue but manageable. . Repellent essential and some lightweight cover all clothing worthwhile to enjoy sitting outside as the sun sets. Walk back to property from Greve is steep, about 20 mins hard work in the heat but it’s good exercise and the price of the view for some shameless holiday boast photos to send home.

This property is set a short drive out if the town of Greve so with a car is perfect for exploring the towns of Chianti! Our small cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay. There's a pool for guests to use as well which at the end of a hot day of touring around & walking is just lovely!

We lived the location and the views. The property was quite and peaceful.

There were few to no supplies. For example toilet paper, dish soap, salt and pepper etc.

It was stunning! The property itself has the most incredible views, the swimming pool and vineyards make the best backdrop, the house itself is perfect for a short stay!

Nothing! It was only a 15min walk from the city of Greve so would suggest maybe a car if you are considering doing wineries as a little difficult to walk to

Exactly what we wanted. A quiet Tuscan cottage, close enough to walk into town and with a pool to relax in after exploring Tuscany. We wanted to be able to self-cater. I would suggest you do need a car to explore close by villages. We were there for Chianti Classico - great time to visit this region. The host was fantastic with suggestions and recommendations, helping us to make reservations. He was also so kind when we locked ourselves out of the cottage (twice!). The pool is just a glorious way to relax and get some sun. Loved it - very Tuscany.

It was perfect. My only tiny bit of feedback would be in the kitchen simple things like Salt and pepper, cooking oil etc would have been useful.

The view from the pool is absolutely breathtaking. We really enjoyed looking out over the hills whilst staying cool in the water. Alessandro is a fantastic host who really tried to make us feel at home. Thank you.

The outdoor furniture could be more comfortable - e.g. softer cushions/sun loungers by individual apartments for guests. Il Santo is quite a long walk from the centre of Greve so a car is advisable, especially as it can get very hot.
